Cube Runner is a very simple 3D racing flash game. You control a small prism that flies trough a field of cubes. The cubes randomly appear from the horizon, as the prism moves forward through the field. Your aim is to advance as far as possible dodging the cubes, because if you hit a cube, the game will be over and you will need to restart from the very beginning. At first the cubes appear in chaotic order, then they form a figure and after passing it you go to the next stage. The speed increases and it becomes harder to avoid collisions with cubes. The color scheme also changes, as you pass to the next section. Your scores are counted at the top-left corner, but probably you will not have time to look at them during the game. However after the game is over, you can check them and see whether you did better then the previous time. It may be a good idea to make a sort of competition with friends: who can get the highest score.

The controls of Cube Runner are more than simple: left and right arrow keys to dodge left or right. It takes no time to master them. The graphics is simple, but cheerful thanks to bright colors. The cool thing is that the whole field lean left and right, when you move the prism. It is a really nice effect that adds something special to this rather a simple game. It is sad, but Cube Runner has neither music nor sound effects.

If you need to pause the game while playing, you can do it by pressing P key. But be warned that after you hit P again the game will resume without warning. You can adjust quality, if you care by pressing Q key.

Upon the whole, Cube Runner is a simple, but very addicting little game. Once you hit a cube and fail, you want to show that you are not that bad and that you can do better. So you press "New game" button and play again and again. The game requires a very good reaction and eye-hand coordination to be successful. So it does not only help you to cure your boredom, but also helps to train your reaction.
